Important Notice:
1. This method works only W8 Pro to W8.1 Pro if you activate your 8 Pro With Retail .
2. It is only upgrading will not work cln installation.


3. 8.1 WMC Edition does not work below methot!

Instructions:
1.Enable Show hidden files, folders and drivers to order to see and save all backup files
Control Panel\Apprance and Personalization
Then Checked Show hidden files, folders and drivers


2.You need to backup your 8 files...
A.Automatic backup 8 filesDownload Advance Token Managerhttp://joshcellsoft.com/products/advancedtokensmanager/Click to start Appliion automatically backup files and save it in folder we need those 2 files.data.dattokens.dat
or
B.Manual Backup MethodGo to this loion and save spp folder in somewhere save in your other hard drive, partition, usb stick etc..C:\\System32\spp\store\2.0
We only need 2 files.1 file named data.dat which is hidden1 file named tokens.dat which is visible
3.Download And Install 8.1 RTM Pro Edition and use eric installation when you are upgrading.
4.Stopsppsvc service net stop sppsvc

5.Renameoriginal data.dat file to cache.dat filndcopy replacein the folder below: [from Advanced Tokens Manager/ Backup to or from manual backup folder]
C:\\System32\spp\store\2.0\cache
6.Copy & Replace thetokens.datfile from Advanced Tokens Manager/ Backup to or from manual backup folder
system32/spp/store/2.0

7.Start sppsvc serviceback again net start sppsvc
8.insert the which you activated over the phone by using command pormpt
Type this script and hit Enter
slmgr.vbs -ipk <Your Product when you activate 8>
